Difference in EB proportioning valves?
#1
I have a front disc setup on my '77. The two proportioning valves I pulled out of my shed have one difference that I can see and that is the lower part on the valve on the right seems shorter and wider than the one on the left. Also, I could not pull any numbers off the one on the left but the one on the right did show D6 as part of the casting number so I know it is a 76 model.

My question is, is there a better choice between the two or are they basically the same?

I am determined to squash this brake issue today!

Sorry for the crappy pic.

Thx,
Mike

They should basically be the same and operate the same as well. You can use valves from fullsize F trucks if you need one.
