update on my dad.

he has been taking radiation 5 days a week. its caused him to not feel the need to eat or drink and when he tries it burns real bad. they kept him last mon and told him he was so dehydrated that he was close to having kidney failure. i did not know he was that weak. he sure didnt act like it. i could tell he was tired a lot but not this bad. so yesterday he had another small operation to have a feeding tube (bag) he has to use for a month or so until he gets well enough to eat/drink on his own. the good news is he only has less than 2 more weeks of radiation and he will be done with that. me and my brother have been very busy helping him.

I hate to hear your Dad is having such a rough time w/ the treatments, but just another two weeks & he can start healing up - he's lucky to have you & your brother to look after him.

thanks guys. me and my brother went over this morning and cleaned up his yard. he was sick. he told my brother that he didnt eat or drink anything yesterday. even though yesterday he told us he did.
