JayT's "Tour de Fatty"
#11
I need to get back in the gym myself...:crying: I use to work out 4 days a week. I use to love being a health nut and then I just got burn out of it. Plus I had some buddies that was dedicated with me and all the sudden they just up and quite. It was hard to work by my self needing a spotter. Me and my wife have started walking around the neighbor hood in the after noons. I was playing basketball alot over the winter at a church but then summer time came and they put it on hold until winter time.

That's 'cause you've got a bad influence as a girlfriend! :hysterical: (for those who don't know, gumby's dating my sister)...

Hells yeah, I used to love riding my mtn bike! I can't wait until I can hit the trails on it again! I hear ya about the heat. Hopefully, I'll be ready once the humidity stops in a couple months.

Tru dat! I wish that I could eat as good as Jill does! She's already lost all baby fat, plus a few more! I commend her and "hate" her at the same time, for this very reason! Keep up the good work with walks!

Likewise, in my 20s, I lived in the gym... 2 hours before work, 2 after work... Killer diet and supplements (legal) and everything. Now, I'm just trying to be consistent and NOT burn myself out. Haven't been able to commit myself to the church BBall league (yet). I really need to hit the cardio hard (and WILL!)... Found the parts I need, on CL, and hopefully will make the trek next week! Stay Tuned! :popc1: LOL!

Jayt you could take my uncle's and mine idea of running. Find someone with a car or 4wheeler to chase you. Cause what's the point of running if no one is chasing you.

But in all seriousness mountain bikes are where its at. Broncosbart took me out. And man I got my ass kicked quick.

I met Jessica in her Bud Girl days and I haven't been able to lay off the Budweiser and Bud Light yet.

Guys when I retired I quit work but I didn't quit eating. I went from 165 #'s to 247#'s in about 18 months. I'm back down to 215 and stuck. I'm going to have to change something about my life style. I have a mental block that says , if the tv is on then I'm supposed to be eating something. That's tough during 3 hour Braves baseball games. I have a friend that could sleep in the shade of a barbed wire fence and told me that sometimes he forgets to eat! Come on, forget to eat!

Stick with it JayT and I'll see if I can join you on the "Tour De Fatty" to lose below 200#'s by years end!! :xyxthumbs:

Good luck JayT. Just remember that it takes 21 straight days to make something a habit, (good or bad). I've been taking the big dog to the county park, they have walking trails. But the heat and humidity is a killjoy right now. Just remember drink plenty of water.
