yea I had to let the 45/70 see some action he was about 20 yards from my back porch he was makeing a strait line in my direction ive heard we have wild pigs in the area if this is one of them i dunno but there is one thing I know he is, and thats dinner.

I've heard several guys say that they have seen feral pigs and wild turkeys around here when they were deer hunting. I've seen many turkey's myself, not to mention coyotes. Wildlife can be quite complacent with people now a days. We had a doe and fawn wander up in the front yard last summer.

Wow that's a nice'un. :biggthumpup: And ya didn't have to go too far to find it. Don't look like he's too old. Should make some decent sausage.

Dad killed one on our place a couple years back that was half that size. We'd never seen any in Davidson Co. before that (See plenty of coyotes and turkeys like Aaron said). Come to find out that it was one that some fellas caught down east deer hunting and brought them back to grow out and hunt. Well he musta smelt our gilts in heat and decided to break out. He was a lot rougher than that. I can't get over how slicked off he looks.

yea ive fried me up some tenderloin the other night put some in the crockpot and made some bbq and put some up for my cousin. Gotta keep room in the frezzer gun season is just around the corner. I gotta say it was some pretty good eatin
