Well, fellow bronco lovers, I'm back. After knee replacement and after falling into a place that gave me a herniated disc, I'm still around only now I might be having back surgery early next year. Any of you guys got bad "discs" and living with them, I'd like to hear from you. I've had 10 surgeries and I don't need anymore. I WILL BE BETTER BY MARCH!!!! :xyxthumbs:

Thanks Eric! The knee was a piece of cake. It hasn't been 2 weeks yet and I'm already walking "unassisted", no walker, no cane. The back, well that's a different deal! We're going to a specialist after the first of the year to find out about that. Positive attitude!! hey, you'd think I was the poster child for positivity!!! I don't worry, I never get "down', and I always look for good in every situation!! Drives the wife nuts but God gave me my out look and I'm not about to question the "BIG GUY". YOU JUST KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS AND OLE CLINT WILL BE ALL RIGHT!!!! :xyxthumbs:

That's great that your knee operation went well. It sounds like you are recovering quickly - congrats!

As for the disc - I have a couple bulging disc, but not herniated. Some days are better than others and I have some days that walking hurts badly. If yours is herniated I'd say you're right about another operation in your near future. You're still too young to live with that. Hang in there Clint!

Clint, if I had a spare disc or two, you'd be the first to get 'em. Let just take things one day at a time.

Thanks guys, you all sure know how to make an ole' fart feel needed. Aaron, for some reason, I believe you would. I am taking one day at a time and relying on God to take care of the rest. It's been 2 weeks today since my operation and I can already get 94 degrees of flex out of it. My therapist is tickled pink and I go back to the doc tomorrow, hopefully I can start driving again tomorrow. We'll see, keep me in your prayers!!! :xyxthumbs:

I had a spinal fusion @ C4, C5 & C6 and I have a Titanium plate and 4 big assed Drywall anchor screw looking things and 2 pieces of Cadaver bone holding my head on and it was the only way to relieve my constant pain and loss of use of my Left arm.The recovery sucked as I had to sleep in a recliner for 1 month but after that I was golden.I even have more mobility in my neck than I did to begin with.
That being said the lower back is easier than the neck as they dont have to go around all the stuff to get there. My scar is on the left side of the ft of my neck right @ the shirt line so they had to go and move my throat /larynx out of the way to do the job.Good luck.
