Going Up

I bought a set of three inch blocks recently for the rear as it was sitting pretty
low out back. After putting them on, I noticed that the rear leaf springs were
just a little wore and they need some help (helper spring coming). Big question is how do I know which coil to buy for the front to get her level? I'm sure there is
a point to measure from to get it correct but not sure where, top of wheel wells
or top of fenders and quarters. Also do I need to make any steering changes right away with this little bit of lift? This won't be a forever thing just kind of figuring how high I want to be when can buy a real suspension lift with all the goodies.

the helper spring shouldnt lift the rear just help when there is a load in the bed or pulling a trailer

but if you need to level the front out see how much of differance you have and add some big washers under the coil spring and should level it out with out changing springs

Considering your springs are worn and you're adding 3" blocks, I'd shoot for 2.5" coils. Someone around here may have an extra set of 2.5" to let you try out to make sure before you buy anything. Shoot us some pics up too!

x2 with sc74... just to add though, be extremely carefull wheeling it with 3 inch blocks. with the short wheelbase, and tall blocks, you have more than enough leverage for a wicked nasty case of axle wrap. if that happens you could be replacing spring perches, u-joints, whole driveshafts, pinion yoke, etc... ive seen axle wrap destroy damn near everything.
