A big thanks to JayT - he and his son came out for about five hours or so today to try and get my wiring sorted out. We've narrowed it down to the connection between the battery and fusebox now. For some reason after we fixed my broken fuse slots and got new fuses in nothing works now. We swapped in a new voltage regulator but that didn't seem to help. Hopefully I'll get a chance to make a last ditch effort this week and try to get it ready.

My money is on the fusible link and/or broken wire that we didn't get to... All the repairs we did Friday worked well (bypassed the engine compartment harness and went straight from the Battery to the firewall connections... All the lights works, so our harness/fuse block repairs worked well. Now to find the short/open... We'll jump on it this week. Need to peel back the tape and look at the harness. I'll bring my meter.

I'm sure that someone, if they beat Matt to this thread before he gets back in town, will post up something else to look at too...

Still here, still broke. Future-Mrs and I are trying to save our pennies for the wedding in Oct. Although I've let it be known I'd love a harness for my birthday if she can pool some cash with my brother and my folks later this summer, so maybe I'll get lucky. I know I won't be able to swing the Painless like I wanted, so my current preference is for this one here.

Parents are trying to get me home next weekend to clean out my room and move it to my house. They wanna convert it to a den or something. Guess it's about time I did since I have my own place now. I'll probably get dad to bring the hood with him when he brings the furniture, so I'm not totally dead in the water on stuff to do.
