I have friends that work there. I am at R Reactor, tearing it down. Going to shoot the stacks today at R and P Reactor. Landscape will be different when I go back to work on Mon. Not used to having two days off.

krazybronco, congrats on the job offer brother....Way to be patient and stick with the process over the last several months. Just goes to show that good things happen to those who wait. I'm sure you won't have any problems with the background checks and drug tests. The next several weeks will pass before you know it. Then you can say with pride that you finally started that "real job" you worked so hard for....Here's to ya!! :mug: :drinkbud:

yes i did get a hair cut before the interview but i am very excited to join the real work force and have some money to start getting some money saved up to buy some things that have been wanting for a while

but if any one has some suggestions on pistols i am all ears cause i dont know a huge amount about them and would like one to go plinking with but also heavy enough to carry conceled and also to help the killing process of a deer if it decieds to run after it is shot with an arrow

ok guys i did start work this week at Plant Vogtle and i can tell you it is going to be alot different that working in private industry and as timstrk can tell you we work on what we call nuclear time. but i cant but can wait for our first of 2 outages of this year so i will be working six 12hour days for a much as a month or more

but to let you know what i have done this week is CBT (computer based training) for the first 4 days of work and today i finally got into the plant today and got to do a tour and most likely i will get lost inside the RCA (radioactive control area) mostly cause there are 5 levels and every thing looks the same
