Saw a '74 Bronco this afternoon with a Mercedes 300D diesel in it. Rattled and smelled like a diesel. Worst part of the whole deal is that the driver bought it. Had no clue. He did know that it gets 26mpg on 33s. Didn't know what gears he had. Body was straight. Someone had done some work.

Sounds like the same person that contacted me a few years ago wanting to buy a diesel bronco.

He bought a hood off of Keith a couple years ago. I think he went to Clemson at the time. Is it still blue? He left with a green hood on it.

It's all blue now. Looks really straight. He was young.

Yep, that would be the one. Didn't have a for sale sign in the window when we saw it. It was parked like it would be for sale and the girl at the station said there had been a bunch of people asking about it.

That sucks. Not that it is for sale or anything. I would have bid on it, BUT- it is only 2wd. Have no idea how you would hook a t-case up to it. Probably not have enough room for a divorced case. If only it were 4wd... (Dreaming)- maybe someday my 4bta project will come to be.
