We rode Dutch John yesterday. It is in good shape. Picked up a handful of trash (almost all beer cans, of course). Didn't log any hours in for official maintenace, but did want to check it out. Our signs are up at both ends of it. We will be going pretty regularly since it is pretty close to us.

Hey charles... let me know when you are heading that way, especially if you have an extra seat. as always, i will pitch in for gas and trail fees, i just really wanna get up there. its been too long since i have been to uwharrie, and i havent been on dutch john in years.
good job on the unofficial trail clean up too, i hate trash on the trail, and beer cans are the worst. thats the kinda thing that can shut down a national forest. good work!
