So, as we get closer to Christmas...my daughter asks me for a Pink EB for Christmas. Now me...wanting her to have just that, set off to solve the dilemma, hence the creation (and customization) of the EB Ornament.
Step 1: Take an EB toy, I used the Gray EB from Jada's line of Big Time 4 Wheelin' (found at Wal-Mart and ToysRUs).
Step 2: Disassemble the main components.
Step 3: Further disassemble with the help of a dremel to round out the overlap of die cast metal.
Step 4: Drill a small hole in the top of the EB for the eyelet. Attach eyelet.
Step 5: Prep the body and top for painting (I used a coat hangar and some hot glue so that I could manipulate the pieces as I painted).
Step 6: Allow to dry and reassemble.
Step 7: Have the Kiddos hang them on the tree. I went ahead and made my Son a similar set-up with the pre-painted Red and White EB. Enjoy!
