The photographer I brought seemed to concentrate on the kids.....at least the asst. chef I brought was on the Ball!! The photographer did at least sneak in one shot that surprised me!!

broncosbybart Wrote:Nice biff! My 2 cents on the rig: make it run cooler. That should really help hot starting. Maybe new rad/ water pump and fender well mods.
Agree. Will start with new fan (in list above) that actually moves air and the shroud I have sitting on the shelf in the garage. there is a brass 3 row dessert cooler in it now that works well with a little air across it. The starter use to be able to move the rig over samll obstacles in first and no issue in low (it's toast, It's been on there for 20 yrs, I got my $29.99 out of it)....I think the old mallory dual point could use some attention also. Sometimes it takes a little cranking to spark off......I know, fuel injection and HEI!!! One day maybe a FI 351 and ZF will fall in my lap. But for this round, I'd just like to say that wheeling with a compentant bunch of guys that have proven to get my broke junk going in precarious places in short order was very much appreciated!!! Sorry for being THAT GUY!! Also witnessing that there was never hesitation to jump in when needed even in emergent situations created by not too bright escapades of others around with an intelligent direction is also very imprssive. Great group of guys to wheel with!
thanks Biff!! we do our best on and off the trails.
as for ign...get a protronics elec conversion or a complete distr. the HEI is nice...but tall and bulky. not sure how to convert mallory dual points to elec pick up tho

Biff..you are one of the good guys too. Thanks again for dropping that carb off with Chuck, I appreciate that. Please let me know that you got the $$ for it!
