Upoload issues (attachment manager)

I have tried uploading a PDF, DOC, TXT, and a ZIP. All of them had valid extensions and were below the max size limit. I get the following error for all

wheeling checklist.zip - Upload of file failed.

Can we please look into this issue so I can post this stuff?

Also, the file size limits are all over the place. I think 4MB pics + ZIPs are way more than sufficient. 1MB documents are good too. I would like to see the ability to upload .PPT and .XLS added as well.

i just tried to upload a couple of jpeg images to post and they too were below the size limit and failed to upload
