I went and looked at a 70 bronco in Lexington SC. It was advertised on Classic Bronco by a storage facility owner. It's going up for auction on June 29th. It's a good looking 20 footer, but has lots and lots of hidden rust that's starting to pop out its head. Oil spot under the motor. Passenger door wot open. Hood, windshield frame, tailgate, both rear corners, bottom doors, inside hardtop, driver rockers and driver inside cowl all have rust coming up thru paint. Can't say too much about the motor, its corroded from neglect will need new key cylinder to crank motor once you bought it. Could not find the VIN since it was painted over years ago. Might be able to Title in NC but SC its gonna be hard with our DMV.
Sorry if pics are sideways, iPads suck at posting pics.
Matt

Trust me, not too much. The doors are decent and the top can be saved. hood and grill look good. but at the end of the day it's worth $300-$400 scrap. It's got a Dana 30 front drum and that ain't worth squat! Plus that record size oil spill leaves me to believe the motor needs a rebuild. I really think its lipstick on a pig. I wish it was in better shape. Oh and it's manual steering and brakes.
I forgot to mention that someone from charleston sc came up and looked at it, any of you guys?

Hi everybody, I haven't been on here in a year, and I meet up with Chuck and some of yall for the Charleston get togethers about once a year. I'm the one that got this Bronco. We got it running last month with little effort. I'm putting in a roll cage and doing a Chevy disc brake swap. Matt and I have been talking a good bit on Classic. I'm adding this forum to my tap-a-talk app to keep up with you guys better.

Welcome to the site! Glad you were able to turn that bronco into a gem! Start a build thread on here and post up some pics. Did you go up to NC and get that roll bar?

Gem might be a stretch, I'm happy to call it a "rusty driver". Picked up that roll cage Sunday. Such a deal.
