What happened to Biff?
#1
Man, have I been balled up!! This is getting a bit ridiculus!! The good news is regular season baseball has come to a screeching halt. the bad news is baseball has come to a screeching halt! (i'll miss it!) The boys have kept me busy making me miss the Meet and greet, MEB Round up and a couple of good time local events....but hey they are only young for a little while and they are keeping me young running after them!! Asa and the 9& 10's won district and went to Tuckahoe VA through this past weekend and Elijah and the 11&12s won district and went to Lynchburg to participate in the State Little League tournaments......That is also my excuse for not making it to Uwharrie. At least the 4door was burning up the Highway!! Hoping to bust loose on a new garage and get some wrenching done in all my spare time for the next couple of weeks........

....oh and by the way for all you closet bowtie fanatics I will probaly be liquidating a perfectly rust free and straight '91 'burban 1500 (GMC SE model) in UNC colors. POS has pissed me off to the end going from a solid trouble free machine to a pain in the rear poor running turd. After many hour of fussing over it I found it had a crack in the pretty new rubber fuel line between the pump and the discahge tube in the tank. I guess the ethanol ate it up!!

Glad to hear the boys did so well this season. Mine is 5 and I can't stand missing a single game. I completely empathize with you Biff; kids always come before the Bronco.

Since you have missed the last couple events, I am looking forward to hanging out with you and your amazing family at the next one.

Good luck on the garage. Please keep us posted.

......As far as the garage, got approved for a loan and tried to turn in papaer work Friday but got no response from the loan shark lady....guess they want the interest rate to creep up a little. Meanwhile a buddy at work told me the old f200 BLT had a big puddle forming under it. Went out and checked and the used $20 Radiator I put in it about 15 years ago was leaking somewhere behind the condenser....It had a little green tint to it, was only a matter of time!! Lucky me had an aluminum plastic tank replacement sitting in wait that I had picked up about a year ago while helping one of my Bronco Brothers here pick up a Dana 44 out of a '79 for a late model straight axel swap. The thing was practically brand new and he was going to turn it in for scrap! I think I gave him $40 bucks for it. Just went on line to get some new hoses and found a $10 off $30 coupon.....2 hoses $30.18 before discount, added 2 gallons of "advance cool" antifreeze for aluminum radiators and got the pre discount over $50 sooooo the savings went to $20!! Cool beans!!! ****Coupon code ES123 for Advance Auto Parts*****

How about a beaten thread!! Took the 4door and the Bronco Hauler to Kerr Lake in Mason NC last week and did some camping, fishing, tubing and other water sports along with some good eating and campfire shenangans.....Got the center of the grill painted on the '73 right before we left....wasn't really on the getting ready to go list. Got home and found some Wild Horses Parts waitng for me. So I hope to get the new choke cable and headlight harness/relays installed tonight while cooking up "WALTER" the 12lb Catfish we caught the mornig we pulled out to come home. Had a little issue with the F200 BLT radiator install I fingered out last night. I was intermittantly loosing power to the lights and Radio etc. but the motor never skipped a beat......turned out to be the ground not making good connection to the body. I guess the old brass radiator and coolant provided a better ground path than the new aluminum and plastic tank radiator!!
