Adopt a trail 2014
#1
I know this is the wrong place for this thread but I really need input. Please respond with if you will or will not be making any workdays this year. The Forest Service is pushing the trail agreement form. We would need to commit to 4 workdays this year. They are scheduled for the third Sat of each month. I really want us to do it but I need to know if anyone else is on board

I'm on board and since they are EVERY third Sat I will definitely fit at least 1 in. Ya'll know my kids social lives keep mine in check. Basketball games this weekend are keeping me away........season runs thru Feb 16th. Baseball starts in April, so FEb or March for me.

VIN# makes it a 1985, the engine block# is an 1989, and the front end is from a 1987. I call it Broncenstein. [Image: bronco.gif]

I'm pretty sure I can make at least 2-3 of the regular workdays this year + the CB4x4 spring and fall runs so that would be 4-5 days.

Thanks for all the responses so far! It sounds like we can commit to it. I haven't done anything yet but I know Terry will want to know something next weekend at the workday.

Any others? Even if you can't do it let me know.

FYI, Workdays for 2014 are as follows:

January 25
February 22
March 15...
April 19
May 17
June 21
July 19
August 16
September 20
October 18
November 15
No December workday.

Now a club or individual can go out and do your own workdays anytime you want. Just contact someone with the USFS or Janet to let them know what / when you did it and who all you had there and how many hours you were out there for.

For those on the fence, worried about burning a bunch a fuel by having to drive or tow in for the workday and having that keep you from coming. Just know, you don't have to drive/tow your Bronco to make a workday. Drive your econobox, park at the Outpost or Hunt Camp and catch a ride to the trails. Having a warm body there is more important that having your trail rig. And there are plenty of seats available to get you in to and out of the trails.

Looking into my crystal ball March 15th appears to be a STRONG possibility for me.
