Due to technical difficulties beyond our control the Sept trip has been delayed into Oct. Probably one of the middle two weekends would be best. I'll follow up with Mr. Brady from Marrietta, GA and confirm a date in the near future.

Keep me posted. Gonna bring the Bronco up to Charleston on Sept 13th through NovRun. If I am not out getting shot at by the Taliban, I am definitely game.

I'm gonna roll the dice and drive the Bronco up to Charleston next Sunday. Fingers crossed I can make Tellico and/ or URE. Thanks for trying to keep this ride going Tim.

Well Tellico obviously didn't happen last weekend. We discussed moving it 2 weeks but it just won't work. Looking at spring now. Stay tuned.

He is my quick down and dirty on the new Tellico. In a nut shell, it is a diamond in the rough that will take a few years to cut and polish before it is ready for me to return.
The trails are great for trail riding and checking out the scenery. Unfortunately, for me, I went to hit some obstacles and Tellico came up short in this department. This park is feast or famine when it comes to obstacles. If you aren't on double black diamond (hard core) rocks, you are left with nothing but the Sunday driving trails; nothing in between.
A lot of the single black diamond areas are covered in runoff sediment and organic deposits that allow for nothing other than an ATV to traverse. The maps are not well labeled nor are the trails. The check-in process is a disaster as is the lack of customer service from the lady at the desk. It took not less than 1 hour for 15 people to check in and it all had to be repeated the next day. Oh, and the credit card machine didn't work the first day and they looked at us like we were crazy for not bringing cash.
This place has a LONG way to go before it is where it needs to be for me to enjoy it. For now, I will stick to URE as it offers most everything I want in a park at a fraction of the price.
