302 or 5.0 Roller
#1
Does anyone have or know of anyone with a good running 302 that may have been a take out when doing the EFI swap or a roller motor that they will part with. I do not plan on using EFI at this time anyway. What ya got? My tired ol 302 has started smoking fearce at slow speeds and I plan on replacing the umbrella seals in the next day or 2 but I have little faith that this will correct the problem.

I found a 5.0 in a 97 Ecplorer that I can get for 400.00 but I have to pull it. Supposed to be able to hear it run before I pull it. Would anyone be interested in the EFI portion. I will continue with my carb and distributor.

I detest totally hate sensors and electronics in a simple recreational vehicle Nic. I will take the Dinosaur as a compliment.

Here is one I noticed looking around the other day you could always pull the upper intake and put carb on it if you need an alluminum intake I got an eddlebrock sitting around. Then you could sell the efi stuff to help pay for the explorer.

Run the 5.0 HO and EFI, install close hood and never look back, trouble free.

Damn. I have a 7.3 Powerstroke sitting in the garage that would have just fit in that thing.. Oh, well.
