Charleston Rubber and Gasket
#1
Does anyone have any contacts at Charleston Rubber and Gasket?

I am heading over there on Monday to have them make some new PS hoses for my rig and would love to catch a $$$ break.

If not, any other hydro line manufacturers in the area to recommend?

Thx.

I know what you mean on the $$$$... I would consider only having the pressure side made up and I would do the return line myself. Sorry I can't help you with a contact for a reduced price.....

The return line should be easy since I am using an explorer pump and reservoir. The reservoir has a nipple and instead of hacking on the poor old metal Bronco lines I can use a section of metal fuel line with fitting + rubber line and clamp to make it work. Just want it to be semi-non-halfassed this time.

The pressure line is going to kill me but it is pretty generic since it is only a straight piece of line with a simple fitting on each end.

Got the hoses I need today. Cost about $55.00. They did not cut me a deal though. Oh well Chuck, thanks anyway.

I have to go back tomorrow and get another fitting to go on my PS pump. The one I have now is leaking. I am not sure if it is because it is a POS or maybe my PS housing is jacked. I tightened the crap out of it an it still leaked. We will see tomorrow. I have to go to CRandG since they are the only people in town that carry the wacky fitting I need (a -6 flare/inverted flare adaptor.)
