Cooler lines
#1
I'm installing new cooler lines on my 74 with a c4 auto. Does it matter which one is the inlet and outlet on the cooler and trans.? I'm also install new lines from my water pump to heater core. Does the water pump line go to the left or right side of the core on the firewall facing the firewall?Confusedcratchhe:
Thanks.

it should not matter on either of those items. sometimes there are different fittings on the trans cooler lines, if thats the case just hook up what goes where. if not, just hook um up. most people will run the upper heater outlet on the intake to the closest outlet from the heater core, but again it doesnt really matter.

Thanks. I know the water pump goes in to the left side of the core and the right goes to the mainfold, but I was not sure about the lines. I know the lines are low pressure , but was not sure the flow direction. Thanks again for your help. Shep
