figuired I will give an update on what i have been up to. As many of you know I rolled the bronco about a month back. Lucky is was a soft roll with minume damage. Mainly to the half cab top. So it was time for a rollcage. So today I picked up a 100 feet of 1.75 .095 wall dom got a great deal on it. I got a cage design figuired out, and broncobybarts neighbor is putting in bend tech for me big thanks to him for the help. My suspension is pretty bad I have angle iron for add a leafs. So its time for them to go. Nick from nickstrix has helped me out found a brand new pair of wild horses 4.5 leaf springs. gonna get them put on before sat to try out the ramp. I have also acquired a big bearing housing thanks to broncosbybart. I plan to truss it and reinforce it. I originally thought I had a medium duty housing so I got a set of explore discs for it. So I gonna try modifies them for big bearing housing It should work more to come on that later. Got my rear bumper on the frame pain in the butt. Just have to cap it.
Last but no least picked up a set of nicks bling shackles today man these things are beefy and cool.

Ok guys so I have been doing a good bit of work on the bronco. I'm trying to get the old girl street worthy for the beach in august. And i'm tired moving the stack of parts i have from apartment to apartment.

Things to do.

Ford disc brake conversion
new ball joints
heavy duty steering
Shave rear housing
Add explorer disc brake for the rear
Install corbeau seats
5 point seat belts
finish roll cage

Here's the progress on rear 9in housing. I first picked up a truss at heinz performance in charlotte. After we got it welded on, we set the pinion angle, and started cutting.

Since I'm converting to a 77 bronco disc brake setup. I need to get new steering linkage since mine isn't long enough. So I called Andy from Ironman fab and had him build me a custom setup. The setup we came up with uses 3/4 heims, and 1.5 dom .375 wall. These things are beefy which is awesome, andy did a great job, wouldn't hesitate about getting another set made from.
