You had me fired up for a second there until I realized where you were going. Classic! Sadly, that is the direction the country is headed anyway, so why not the trails. Made me smile!

Most of theese will never happen as people would stop coming to the trails or the Goverment would close the trails before they would hire inspectors and set up a goverment class for off road. As for the deposit won't happen either as the minute it is suggested people wouldn't bother coming to the trails or would just go on without passes. 3 Forms of id well states can't even get it aproved to require 1 form to vote.

Trails closing at 1500 how much infastructure would that take to set up that isn't already in place? Why wouldn't you put that money into more Rangers to patrol more or from the Goverments point of view just shut the trails down completely and realocate the current Rangers

I got a laugh out of it too. Chuck, if you are coming in the silverado and want to ride the trails, I will have an open seat.

Just wanted to let everyone know that this meeting is not some huge summit type meeting where we get to Q&A the forest service and find out any real information concerning trails, etc.
It's more of a club/forest service powwow/info session.
We go over what has been done, what we would like to see happen, identify any major trouble spots and to see how we as a club can keep our trail open.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone from attending, but before anyone drives 4-5 hours expecting this to be a big deal, it really isn't that big of a deal.
