This is where you tell us about yourself and post up a pic or 2. Time to shine people,Chuck Introduce yourself to the group! - 73Bronc - 01-05-2008 Hi everyone, I'm 73Bronc from Raleigh, NC. I've had a lifelong love affair with the early bronco. It all began at age 14 when I was riding in the back seat of a K5 Blazer. The Blazer, driven by my sister's boyfriend at the time, was completely submerged over the top after we attempted to cross what my brother said was "a shallow pond that should be a piece of cake to cross" hahaha... anyway, my brother called a buddy for help. The next thing I know, this baby blue and white early bronco comes roaring out of the woods. My brother swam down and hooked a tow rope to the front bumper. I thought, "no way this is working". Watching all four tires on the bronco spin and the engine roar was awesome man. It pulled the submerged Blazer out with us sitting on the top... i was hooked. I knew right then that I had to have one. Well, my parents came through. I was about 15 when they bought the dark brown 73 with lots of rust. My bronco and I have been through many years since then and I'm looking forward to many more to come. I've done several restorations over the years but the latest one was really the only one that I had the money to do right. I'm very happy with the body restoration but I have many projects ahead of me. Here's a quick look at the goods: 351W 3 1/2" KBarS suspension lift 33" BFG A/Ts Family bar and cage kit from Kentrol Custom front bucket seats and fold-n-tumble rear seat from Tom's Bronco Stock drive train, gears, and brakes (future projects indeed!) Here's a recent photo: I'm excited about joining this community.
