Over the last few weeks I have had some time to take care of a few things. Fixed the dent I put in the right rear quarter
while in URE, installed the old aux heater on the passenger side for liz and finally got the soft top installed.
I'm sure most are wondering why bother with the top now? Well here in fl the summer is when we get the heavy rains. Its our winter.
Big thanks to Chuck and Chuzie for getting it fixed up and back to me.

After taking my mule to town for dinner and then coming home threw a deep sand
power line section, we pulled over for a sudden noise. I restarted it and knew]
right away it was a serious problem. Dragged it home with my subie.
Tore it down and found a broken crank shaft between 6-7. Luckily it broke clean
and since it wasnt run long. No other damage occurred. New crank, all bearings,
rings and seals are being replaced. It has been 18 years since I last rebuilt this
engine. It was due and I look forward to having it back together again.
I'm dropping it off at the machine shop to balance the crank and check the crank
in the block.
