Looks good, just becarefull of water crossing. I used to have a 12v air pump that went back to tanks hidden behind my rear inner pannels. Went into a mud hole in URE and got so much mud/water into the pump is sized. Of course it also burned up my alt. too.

Well after lots of thought about axle choices i am going to tons. I snagged a d60 a couple months ago. I have nothing in it ended up swapping some stuff i wasnt gonna use for it. Gonna go look at a sterling 10.25 tomorrow.

If memory serves right, you want the later sterling (93-98, iirc) with the longer pinion shaft. I had one a while back but got rid of it. I decided to go the 14 bolt route. 99 and later axles were disc, but were also metric lug pattern like on your F250.
I thing FBG had a sterling in it before it was parted out. Maybe Chuck can give some insight as well.

mine had a sterling in it...it was 10.25-i think all of those were the standard lug pattern, i think the 10.50 was metric-i could be wrong tho. good axle, but i think a 14blt would be better

the shorter pinion is correct in the ones prior to 93. but since ring and pinion have to be changed anyways i can opt to install a set from the later yrs and correct that issue. then just change the yoke to match. and yea the 10.5 have the metric lug pattern the rest are 8x6.5. if i could find a 14blt rear cheap i might could go that route also.

you guys are probably right on the 10.25 vs the 10.5 lug pattern. i was going off memory, which isn't so hot. got my 14b out of the PAP here in charlotte. clay had to help me. that sucker was pretty heavy. Scored it for about $80, without the drums. Going disc on it and a little shave action to the bottom. Guess it will be a 13 bolt when I'm done.
