It was great to see everyone again! Charles has an awesome shop as well as nice collection of Broncos. BTW, I think you need to sell me the one in your middle bay:xyxthumbs:

There are 4 pins and 4 springs in the lockright diff. My guess is that one or two of the springs have given up. They disengage the side plates from the center of the diff.

wow....finally got a deep breathe. Charles, it's already been said...but, you have a great shop and tools!! The hospitality was top notch!! Thanks again for giving us a place to stay for the weekend. I had no idea how bad things got on the 77!!!

I'll be going into the rear 3rd today to see whats up. fully lock axle and 33's dont work out to good...the lugs are starting to show signs of wear.

the work day was a huge success, thats to everyone that came out to wrench on my chit:bdent:

the Lowcountry Boil was off the hook!!!! thanks Nick! thanks Bart for cooking the burger/dogs....N.Hopman...the beans were awesome!!

Bart, the red jacket and craftmans gloves are mine.

...anyone see the adjustable track bar that "came off" my 77?? we couldnt find it at Bart's. I had one on it and brought another one...we used the other one i brought, no sign of the one we removed.

Thanks again everyone!!!! and thank you Doug for putting up with it all...:hysterical::thefinger:

Chuck and all,

Had a great time, next time I'll watch the weather better and dress for the occasion, it was a little chilly without a jacket. Glad you got it home OK with only a few issues.

The track bar that was taken off was not adjustable and was laying on the bottom shelf of the red service cart where we were putting parts and hardware.

Nick

It was a good time! Thanks Bart for hosting! (I'll holla at you when I'm ready to build my shop, for your plans!)

Good time wrenchin, eating, and visiting!

Not sure whats up with the lock right. Changing the pinion seal would have no affect on the locker, just the pinion. It wasnt torked very hard so that wouldnt have changed anything in the gear set. I think the spring problem is the culpret (like I said, I hate those lock rights).
The coffie mug is mine, any chance you could drop it in the mail?
Big thanks to Bart for putting on a great day and for the help with the parts! Thanks to all who provided food threw out the day! This should be a yearly thing around the area to help who's ever ride can use the work.
It was realy great to see everbody!

Alright, it might be a bit too early to talk about it, but is this something we want to do for next year (kind of an annual thing)? I'm happy to host it again. If someone else wants to host it, that would be great as well. Looking for some input from you guys. I had a great time!

Also, if we want to do it again, we'd be looking for potential projects to do. If we are doing something major (engine swap or similar), I'd ask that you be able to trailer your rig to and from, just in case it doesn't get completely finished. ALSO, there will be no utilization of tow rigs with dry rotted tires!!! Right Chuck? Post up.
