You couldnt reach the 77's upgrades - blazinchuck - 09-05-2012 man! i spent all day yesterday removing the Beard front seats and harnesses. had to fab up new mounts for the reclining corbeau seats a got a while back. also installed some 3pt retractable seat belts. ill get some pics tomorrow. i got a dakota digital gauge 2 weeks ago...cant wait to start that project. also got half the AC kit from Southern Air. this is everything that gets mounted on the inside of the firewall. I plan to remove the mojave heater and install the new kit for heat only before NovRun. the 77's upgrades - SC74 - 09-06-2012 Any plans for that mojave heater? I might be interested if available. the 77's upgrades - BucknEB - 09-06-2012 Those seats look great and are real comfortable and the new 3 pt. I think they are a little lower than Beards. The seat belts work great after a little head scratching to make 'em fit. It's tomorrow. Where's the pictures?:popc1: the 77's upgrades - blazinchuck - 09-10-2012 Here's a pic of the new seats the 77's upgrades - chuzie - 09-10-2012 Would look better with a chick in a bikini! the 77's upgrades - BucknEB - 09-13-2012 chuzie Wrote:Would look better with a chick in a bikini! Troof! the 77's upgrades - SC74 - 10-17-2012 Chuck - Tell me more about how you did the fuel pressure gauge. I know you installed it in the hood, but I'm more interested in how you plumbed it. I have the Mustang fuel rails on the passenger side that run between the upper and lower intakes. The fuel supply comes in at about a 45* angle (going downward to sweep between intakes). That's where I have the funky Ford fuel line connection - It's kinda long because I have a AN adapter to Ford fitting adapter etc. I imagine this is where I need to tie in? Not sure I have enough room under the hood to add another fitting since it's where the hood cross member goes across. Didn't you get a T-Bird fuel rail or something? Wonder if I would be better off coming back about 8"-10" in the fuel line and cutting it there to drop a fitting in for the gauge to read. Just sucks that I have the SS lining that is a PITA to cut clean and get a AN fitting on. the 77's upgrades - blazinchuck - 10-17-2012 I can take a pic later, but I got a AN fitting with a 1/8" NPT hole. Went between fuel line and ford connector. Then ran -4 AN stainless line to back of gauge. I will be changing gauge soon tho...vibrates too much, shoulda got liquid filled. Id try to make room for it at intake, further away means longer fuel line(expensive ) Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2 |
