its a 87, but the motor is not original...it has a serp. sytem and a nice pump for the hydro assist...id like to use.

also, what distributors do 5.0's use...i guess i cant use the non efi D.U.I. thats in the roller motor of the FS bronco. I guess its just a nice HEI dist. guess i need to sell that to...Bighorn...did you ask me about that...lol

Btt, anymore thoughts?

What year is your donor mustang? One other code you will have besides speed senser will be evap press senser. Not a big deal, nothing that will efect performance.

ok the EFI motor i got this weekend is a 1990 5.0 HO. from a mustang. I plan to use a RCI 19gal fuel cell in the bed. Any thoughts on running a intank fuel pump?? I'd really prefer not to run all the other pumps/accumalter,etc. I've been looking and dont see a nice drop unit for the RCI, but is there a way to add one?? Thanks,Chuck

Probably not, my suggestion is to use a frame mounted pusher pump(at the tank) and then the high psi pump closer to the motor. A great aplication for a high psi pump is the F250 pump from late 80s or early 90s. The pusher(or primmer) pumps I always got an off the shelf unit from napa.
To bad you didnt take my book afterall, I had the 90 mustang wiring info right in there. I'll scan everything and get it to you.

haha...pad that junk on your own time...hehe.

ok, i have been on the phone with Aeromotive,Jegs, and RCI...im not getting much help on this. Aero suggested i build a duplicate of their steel sump to weld into my Alum tank. Im worried about that. I just find it hard to believe i need to run 2 pumps...what about a holley blue or black...surely that can work by itself???

Robert, what are you using in your efi swap?

302 EFI conversion - broncomatt - 03-31-2009

I remember holly making one that was strong enough to suck out of the tank and creat the correct psi. But it was spendy ($300?).
The f250 pump is cheap, a pusher mounted by the tank usualy around $30.

What does the mustang run? I know they only used one in tank pump right?

I will see if I can get some wiring diagrams before this weekend.
