CO2 tank and air compressor - chuzie - 10-18-2013 Coming from the cu*t that passed on hell week? Wow! I've got ur pu*sy right here baby. Come and get it Sent from my SAMSUNG-S3 using Tapatalk 2 on CyanogenMod CO2 tank and air compressor - nhopman - 10-18-2013 Didn't realize the list was turning into a Pirate clone. Using a Co2 tank to hold air when empty would probably be a waste. Even a bigger Co2 tank wouldn't hold enough air to run an air tool for more than a few seconds. Plus pumping air into the tank would introduce moisture and most Co2 valves already have enough problems with icing without getting moisture from inside the tank. Can you do it - probably can. Should you do it - IMO not worth the effort and plumbing hardware. I always wondered about running an inverter to power electric tools or to charge batteries for cordless tools. It would be nice to make the inverter portable so it can be moved to another vehicle in case you are working on a non-running rig at the time. Also by making it portable,on just the weekend trips when it wouldn't be needed, you could leave it back at home or at camp. Nick CO2 tank and air compressor - chuzie - 10-18-2013 Chuck and i were wondering when you would chime in nick. We figured a little fun on the forum would generate some interest or, at the very least, some concern. Guess not. Oh well, we had fun in the process. I actually bet chuck that bart would be the first to jump in to break it up. Now i owe chuck $20! I thought the moisture thing would come into play but really wanted confirmation from you. Thanks for the info. Guess i gotta make a choice. Can't have it all. I agree with nick on the icing issue. CO2 and moisture don't mix. For tools, who needs air? Just get an 18v impact, or, don't break your junk. Actually Chuck told me not to reply right away so he could make some coin. Just give me $10 and cut him out entirely. CO2 tank and air compressor - blazinchuck - 10-18-2013 lol |
