What is the 5/16" vent hole for on the 23 gallon tank?

My guess would be atmospheric vent (ie- charcoal canister). You should be fine capping it off

I like the AN pickup/return fittings. Nice feature.

Even came with push lock AN fittings for them, which I thought was pretty cool.

I used one of these and tucked it up behind the rear tail light on my old 76. Bad thing was u got some fumes with the hard top on.
