did u get the races all the way seated in the hub? u did knck the old races out right? u do have the same bearing #s that u replaced? lots of things could be the problem..1 thing for sure DON'T DRIVE IT till u check it out, u should have enough threads 4 both nuts & the washer....

:banghead:
So near, so far....the hub guts seem to bottom out just short of letting the snap ring decompress...feels like it's bottoming out...but can't figure out on what....so close but so far...not sure how something so simple can be so hard. :popc1:

Let me know when convenient and I'll call for moral support...:drinkbud:

<blush><blush>
Know what happens when you put the innter bearing race in backwards? Confusedcratchhe:Confusedcratchhe:Confusedcratchhe:Confusedcratchhe::hysterical::hysterical:

Got that sorted out....call me stupid...again and again...

All but the outside little bearing and dust cap are on....

Other wheel, driveshaft isn't sticking out quite far enough. The washer out the outside of the lock nut is riding in the groove where the C ring goes...(bearing are in the right direction).

I'm about ready to start drinking again

At least I'm entertainment!

Pull the shaft a little and wow, everything fits.....

Now to get the calipers back on, get the brakes bled when the son comes home from work....maybe a few little odds and ends tomorrow....then inspection on Monday and we're "on the road again"!!

Thanks to everybody for suggestions and moral support....:notworthy:
