the 77's upgrades - SC74 - 10-17-2012 I see what you are saying about close for sake of expensive hose, but the pressure should read the same at the intake or a foot before the intake, correct? I'm fortunate to be friends with a hydraulic shop here so the -4 won't kill me too bad. the 77's upgrades - blazinchuck - 10-17-2012 Yeah pressure is the same..just make sure gauge is somewhere between intake and high pressure pump. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2 the 77's upgrades - broncosbybart - 10-17-2012 chuzie Wrote:Would look better with a dude in a speedo! I fixed it for ya, chuzie. the 77's upgrades - blazinchuck - 10-18-2012 well, got the body lift ready and almost done...however, WH must have used 4 of the 8 bolts(then replaced them with 4 stockers) now i dont have 4 bolts long enough to finish body lift. hope a trip to lowes will cure that. had to modify the rad mounts, spread the open some to fit the larger core radiator. also dropped the rad a 1" to help keep the fan centered in shroud. now here's the part that pissed me off... found the new rad support was rubbing the front of steering box...so i thought i would make a simple cut and bend that lower part of support down and out of the way...so how i managed to use a pry bar right in the end cover of steering box!!:banghead::banghead::banghead::wtf: anyone know where a new cover and seal can be had from?? the 77's upgrades - broncomatt - 10-18-2012 And here I thought you were mad about Bart's Comment, LOL. What steering box are you runinng? I may have what you need. You know the number. the 77's upgrades - blazinchuck - 10-18-2012 its a stock 77 steering box..no idea on number the 77's upgrades - BucknEB - 10-18-2012 Damn dude that sucks! Is there a Murphy's Law with these trucks? Something that states: If you fix one thing another will break or you'll find something else that needs fixing. the 77's upgrades - blazinchuck - 10-18-2012 ok, well all may not be so bad...chuzie pulled the box out this morning(im at work) no damage to the end cap, its actually a billet PSC cap...no way to "poke" a hole in it. i think i must have pushed it in some toward the bottom and broke the seal. so i got a new o-ring and chuzie slapped it together. should be able to test later today. gonna try to get bronco back together so i can modify the clutch rod for 1" lift the 77's upgrades - blazinchuck - 10-19-2012 chuzie got the new o-ring installed on the steering box...so far no leaks. radiator is done, front clip is done, all underhood wiring, fuel lines, steering cooler,etc...are done. F250 shock mounts where raised up and welded in.fenders and hood are back on. however the hood wont close all the way...the late model plastic brake reservoir it hitting the hood. since i had to change the booster/bracket for the fender clearance...it seems to position the MC higher. i still have the one that came with this new booster...i was hoping to reuse the plastic one tho...its nice see threw one cap design. oh well.. im trying to decide if im ready to swap out for the dakota digital gaguge...stay tuned also...CHUZIE was a huge help yesterday! he was at the garage working and getting alot of this done while i was at work. Thank you DUDE! the 77's upgrades - chuzie - 10-19-2012 :pinklove: Anytime! |
