The motor is in and wired through the fire wall. All I've really been waiting for is to build my tubed console to mount my gauges. I also lack several other odds and ends like finishing the battery tray mount and making a computer mount. It shouldn't be too much longer... I hope not at least.

I didn't take the 1st picture today, but the coilovers are mounted and supporting the weight of the truck. The support bars holding the body up are finally gone! That's the good news.
The bad news.... there are some clearance issues with the fuel cell mount. It looks like the fuel cell is going up in the bed and the tool box I had planned on will either not even be used or will go behind the fuel cell.
We had to cut a portion of the rear fender well out for the coilovers to mount to the tube between the rear and front of the roll bar. All of the loose ends we lack are killing me.

Yeah we found out after the coilovers were installed that the fuel cell was too close to the top truss( hit on the brake line bolts) so it is back to the drawing board on it.I guess thats what we get for installing the fuel cell without being able to cycle the suspension.No biggie it will work out.

Didn't really plan on working on it today, but ended up getting more done than I anticipated. Isn't it funny how some days everything works against you and others it falls right into place (unfortunately not as often).
Here are some pics of the coilovers mounted. We had to do some grinding to the lower links to gain room for the coilover to mount.

The fuel cell had to go and I still needed to weld a rear frame cross-member in. The original was in the way of the re-located axle, the 2nd one was in the way of the fuel cell idea, and now the 3rd one goes back in place of the fuel cell :banghead:
No room for the tool box I bought to go in the bed. It's for sale if anyone is interested. Fortunately I had saved the 6" hole saw circle that I had cut out way back when JUST IN CASE. It's welded back in now and new holes are cut for the re-located supply and return fuel lines.
The rear drive shaft is also in now :xyxthumbs:
