Finally! Been waiting for that sandblaster for a long time. Now it feels like progress.

What battery holder is that?

You wouldn't want them. They are for Optima's. The hold downs are from Ruff Stuff. They do make one for Odessey batteries.

On a work related note, the exhaust is pretty much figured out. It is all 304 stainless tubing, in a combination of 2.75" and 3" diameters. Space was very tight around the firewall and around the gas tank, hence the 2.75" size. I didn't want to neck it down to 2.5".

A few pics. Turned out better than I thought it would, as most of it was purchased as a kit consisting of various bends. I used a couple of stainless V-bands so that the exhaust could be taken apart in sections if ever needed. It isn't completely finished, as it still needs to have hangers made, finish welded, and I need to figure out the important part, the exhaust tip. I was debating on cutting a hole in the bed and soft top to run a stack out the top, but....

Ok, not really.

And, of course all the work I did on the passenger side of the trans tunnel is all in vain. The exhaust was all up in the way. So, that totally needs to be redone- which really bites.

You can totally fit 5" pipe in there cmon!

Looking like I'm going with the RuffStuff holders. Thx.

Nice, and stainless! How close are you to hearing it run?
By the way, what brand are those shocks?

Ms Piggy. Black and Blue! - snipes243 - 10-25-2015

Fox shocks I believe

Where is this stash of fox shocks you two partners in crime have been stealing from?

Looking really good Charles! I need to come by and see this gem!

Ms Piggy. Black and Blue! - broncosbybart - 10-27-2015

Thanks all!

I probably won't fire it up until after it is painted. With it being all bare metal, I've been working to get it in shape for primer.

The shocks are all Fox 2.0's. They sponsor me and I only pay 10% over retail... Actually found them on classic a few years back. Clay might be swapping favors or something. Not sure what his secrets are and I don't think that I want to find out.

Here are a few pics of what has been going on lately. Rebuilt the lower portion of the door posts, fixed one of the strikers, did a little work to the cowl, added a plate to block off where the fresh air inlet was, and re-did the doing of the floor modification for the exhaust downpipe. Had to hog out some more material and will need to modify the heater box a little to make it all work together.
