She's entirely in primer! The primer used is made by Southern Polyurethanes and is their epoxy primer. It sprays nicely and is very easy to sand. It took a couple of days to finish some misc repairs that I forgot about and to get it all cleaned and prepped. I also started working on an under seat storage area below the pass side seat area. I will finish it when the body is back on. Wasn't able to find a security drawer large enough to be worth anything so I'm just making a cubby area to hold a tow strap and winch remote.
The underside was done first then the remainder was done the next day. With the wind we've had this week, I'd say I had a side draft paint booth going on out on the garage pad. Caught a few bugs in it, but it's primer...
After setting up for a day, I began seam sealing it top and bottom. I taped all the joints to prevent excess from smearing everywhere BUT if you are careful this is a HUGE waste of time and the tape is pretty frustrating to remove when your fingers are slick as snot with seam sealer all over them. Ok, I use rubber gloves which makes it even worse.
After another day to setup, I scuffed the underside, cleaned it and shot it with UPOL raptor liner. It applies easily and the spray pattern is adjustable depending on distance and air pressure. I wanted a somewhat smooth surface to keep dirt from getting trapped in the coating. It turned out well enough for me.

I sometimes use alcohol on my latex gloves to move rtv around without all the gooey mess. Would that work on seam sealer too or would the alcohol introduce an adhesion issue?

The seam sealer is easy to work with, it was the masking tape that sucked. Much easier to do the job without using masking tape.
Been making some headway. The cowl and inner fenders are now black and blue!
The downpipe is fully welded and wrapped. Hopefully the wrap will help keep the heat off of the pass side floorboard area. The downpipe is about 3/4" away from it. Next was checking over all the bolts and stuff on the chassis and installing the body mounts. Finally, the tub was lowered into place!
Before I put the inner fenders on, I had to finish the steering ram mounts. Got those done, painted up, and steering linkage installed. Then it was time to put the inner fenders on! Starting to look like something!!
Oh, the wonky looking hole in the corner of the firewall is for a weather pack bulk-head connector. There is a hole on each corner of the firewall. I plan to make the wiring harness detatchable to make any future work easier, if I have to take it all apart once it is together.

While piggy was away, she must have had a renvezvous with papa smurf. This was the result, but I like it.
Got her back in the garage and fabbed up a storage area for under the pass seat. I couldn't find anything pre-made that maximized storage in this area, so I made something. It will stay open in front and will be used for light stuff like a winch remote or tow straps, etc.
After that, it was time to get the quarter guards set in place to drill the mounting holes. She is going to Line-X on Monday, so I'm trying to finish up all the misc interior stuff before then.
