Time to bring this back to the top. Keith and I have been working our butts off on the bruggy since we moved it to his house.

We changed directions on the roll cage above the dr. and pass. seats. The original idea was going to be too low and a head smasher. We ended up adding 2 tubes centered and they have a rise to them to get a little more head room.

The seat mounts are also in. We bevel cut a tube to match the contour of the driver floor and duplicated it on the pass. side. Then we used 1" .120 wall tube for the seat mounts and harness tie-ins. We got the seats as LOW as we could and still have room to get a nut on the bottom of the seats.

We also added a tube to support the rear coilover mount and added some gussets. I'm sure when we pull the cage out to finish welding it and prime/paint we'll add some more gussets.

The first pic shows the direction we are going with the console. The trans shifer will be just to the right of the driver seat for easy/comfortable quick shifting.

The second pic is the rear bumper we built today. I should finish the frame mounts tomorrow and it will be mounted in the next round of pics next weekend :popc1:

Good progress! Give these guys a call: http://www.davejensensouth.com/

Dave Jensens sells a lot of new and used race car parts. I'm sure he has new ones, may have a good used one. There are a couple of other used parts houses in the area if he doesn't.
