mokin:that a great point.... i've got a neighbor that has a pretty built heep. it seems that his (and every other one that i've seen built) has a chebby motor in it, along with some real running gear that doesn't look like it is made of toothpicks. i think his gets used 2x a year and wrenched on the remainder.
another interesting point- i've got a friend who has one of those new fancy schmancy ones. he said he got stuck one time because the 4wd will only engage while the heep is moving. no thanks.
i wish i had the link to the bronco vs jeep video on youtube. they were wheeling in the snow somewhere. it was very funny.
