cooling the EB - blazinchuck - 10-16-2012 Got the front clip all done, mounted alum radiator last night ...seems to sit a touch higher than stock. I think it do to the fact, this rad doesn't sit down in the rubber isolators, sits on top. So before going any further ...im gonna start 1"BL. I know ill have to lower rad then...so ill wait til BL is done then lower the rad correctly. As for hoses...doug left me the stock mustang hoses. I was able to use the upper for my top hose. Believe it or not, I was able to use dougs stock eb lower. Just flipped it and it went right on lower spot Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2 cooling the EB - blazinchuck - 10-16-2012 Fyi...on the upper mustang hose, I had to trim bout 1" off the radiator side and push like heck to get it on. The rad outlet is a lil bigger than hose Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2 cooling the EB - blazinchuck - 10-21-2012 aight...been super busy. as for cooling...i installed the alum radiator. spread the core supports open a little...might go for 4 core mounts later. i used the mustang upper and used the stock eb lower hoses. i used some 2x2 foam along the sides. so far i can get it past 160. a while back i installed a fail-safe 180*. i sure this hasnt failed while changing the rad. will watch it for a while. |
