They let YOU do all that:hysterical:You got to be kidding me!:xyxthumbs: Networking - SC74 - 04-17-2008 What an awesome thread :xyxthumbs: Looks like we have some incredibly talented members! I work for a local grading contractor and move dirt for a living (hence my occupation in my profile is DIRT). Well, I don't get to operate much equipment anymore and do more of the estimating/bidding and project management. We do everything involved with sitework including clearing, mass grading, storm drainage, water & sewer, curb, & paving. Is anyone else feeling the economy crunch? Development has drastically slowed down in the Upstate and work is getting TIGHT (and cheaper even with the rising costs). cratchhe: Networking - SC74 - 04-17-2008 cuz1 Wrote:I had an idea!!!cratchhe: Carl - Jessica and I just bought 16 acres and are looking at house designs. What we'd like to do is build a shop first, but give it a livable area that we could move into after we sell our house and build the new house. We want to go with the "barn" look to the shop - maybe living area up stairs that will be converted to "man room" when the new house is built  Have you ever done anything similar? Thanks! Networking - jollygrngiant - 04-17-2008 I've been in the restaurant industry since I was 15. After high school i moved to Chareston, from Greenville SC, went to Johnson & Wales and put my 4years in and got an Associates degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management. Currently I am the Sous Chef at a casual/fine dining seafood restaurant called R.B's Seafood. I manage a 7 man line in the kitchen, control food cost % and basically run the kitchen. It's located on the water in Mt Pleasant SC. Been there for 5 years. I love it!! I only work days and have off every Sunday and Monday. I also do some private catering on the side. Learned most of my 4wheel knowledge from hands-on, trial and error, friends and mag's. I learn more and more each day. I've always had a passion for trucks and off roading:rebel: Just chose to go the cooking route instead thats my 2 cents Brian Networking - redsblue73 - 04-18-2008 I have a BA in Architecture and have been drawing all of my life.....I spent 12 years working in a couple of different Architectural Firms....took 5 years off and worked for 2 large animal vets (horses only)....missed drawing and have been back in Architecture for the past 2 years...
