I used a grinder to get the head off and then used a punch to drive them out. I've also heard of people doing it much quicker with a torch or an air chisel.
After that it is a matter of unbolting the TTB, and installing all the new brackets, coils, brake lines, etc. Make sure to get a nice pitman arm remover and it helps to have a buddy around to wrestle the TTB halves back into place once the new brackets are in.
I will keep all of that in mind. I will make sure I have at least one other person helping me with this. Really wouldn't want to screw this up.

Wtih that in mind, does SC have inspections? 2 of my cars are licensed in FL but the Pilot is SC registered. Not that I have done anything to it but just wondering in case I tag my Bronco for SC one day. I am sure it is not grandfathered in right?

I don't know about SC and actually now that I think about it. I think that the bronco is Grandfathered in because I didn't have to pay for the emmissions test when I had it inspected. So I guess I could just rip it out.

Nope, no inspections at all here in SC.

No inspections required in NC if your vehicle is 35 yrs or older.

What year is the emmissions test cutoff? I thought it was 93 or something like that.
