Okay so here it goes. I've been a bronco nut for a while, and when i bought my 84' i had the thought of the great all purpose bronco. Trails for light wheeling, drive it on the street, hit the highway, reliable fast all the creature comforts. Well i'm on that path now. It's turned out quite nice. However lets face it there is only some much wheeling you can do in something you are worrying about sheet metal all the time. if you drive your wheeling truck your gonna drive a beater. So i've had the itch to buy a bronco for some time to build a wheeler out of, and here it is.

I picked it up for 400 bucks the reason is the motor is well not running

Tailgate is missing no concern as it will have no top on it , and a custom tailgate.

Inside is nice however the carpets going bye bye for herculiner, and the power windows are gonna get yanked.

I went back and swapped the wheels, and tires for junker. The nice ones weren't part of the deal. Then loaded it up, and hauled it to the house. The hood scoop has got to go for sure!!

Ah safe at home in the garage waiting teardown.

The back end wasn't hurt by rain or anything really still quite nice.

looks like somebody else has got their hands full. its an addiction manny. good luck with it. im sure it will turn out great. get it as light as you can and get a good lift that will flex. keep it low and light if you can. i'd even cut the fenders out for bigger tires so you dont have to run a tall lift spring to clear the tires. put that sterling in , do an sas up front.

Yep, light and low! I wished I had thought more about weight when I started my build but instead I've built a heavy tank. The sawzall is your friend :rebel:

Looks like you have a good rig to start with - keep the pics coming.

If you're gonna cut those fenders...I'll swap ya, I've got two that are already dented for ya. Haha.

Ye mels that passenger has one dent in it, and the driver is clean i'll take some pics for ya that way we can see about some wheelin dealin, cause they are gonna get cut. For engine i'm having a hard time deciding to chunk all the good fuel injection......... hate to make that decision that plus weight of a big block however nothing in in stone yet so we will see.:popc1:
