Okay so here it goes. I've been a bronco nut for a while, and when i bought my 84' i had the thought of the great all purpose bronco. Trails for light wheeling, drive it on the street, hit the highway, reliable fast all the creature comforts. Well i'm on that path now. It's turned out quite nice. However lets face it there is only some much wheeling you can do in something you are worrying about sheet metal all the time. if you drive your wheeling truck your gonna drive a beater. So i've had the itch to buy a bronco for some time to build a wheeler out of, and here it is.
1991 bronco xlt, 302 v-8, e4od. bw1356, ttb, 8.8
I picked it up for 400 bucks the reason is the motor is well not running
Tailgate is missing no concern as it will have no top on it , and a custom tailgate.
Inside is nice however the carpets going bye bye for herculiner, and the power windows are gonna get yanked.
I went back and swapped the wheels, and tires for junker. The nice ones weren't part of the deal. Then loaded it up, and hauled it to the house. The hood scoop has got to go for sure!!
Ah safe at home in the garage waiting teardown.
The back end wasn't hurt by rain or anything really still quite nice.
I like this part of the 87-91's
So that's my new tinker toy:biggthumpup:
I still have not developed a full plan however i have a 79 front frame section, and a sterling a np435, and some other goodies. Now to develop a full plancratchhe: Any input???:banghead:
