I've been thinking of taking my 1978 Big Bronco project and putting my Dana 60s under it. What would be cutting edge suspension for such a project? Doc

One of my very good friends, Brent Broberg, just graduated from NASCAR Chassis Fabrication school and is now the chief fabricator at James Duff Enterprises in Knoxville. His younger brother, Brian, and he designed Duff's new rear 4-link. Take a look at their work -- you will be mightily impressed! 8) Doc

Doc, I believe it is hard to beat a set of Cage arms.

Thanks for the link. I'm looking at extended radius arms for the 1979 F350 Dana 60 that I have, but a fourlink front and rear would be killer! :twisted: Doc

I think 4 link fronts on a fullsize bronco are pretty hard to do. I would do a 3 link, coilovers. Or you could even get some extended wristed radius arms and coils. Theres some guys getting insane flex out of that.

As for the rear, you can get alot of flex by just using some different rear springs. try some 2wd 57" ford rear springs back there, or make you own pack.

However, a 4 link rear would be SWEET

Slims runnin tuns if I ain't mistaken. He's gettin great flex out of the stock set up with Duff arms. Not sure what springs though.

Use the extend radius arms with duff shocks and springs. Keep the rear leafs. Simple simple. I am tired of tuning my 4 link.

I've got deaver superflex coils with cage arms and it's working quite well for me...
