I will be having a new metal building put up. Before I can do that I need to tear my old barn down, then cement in the spaces in the concret slab where the beams had been. I have almost no experiance with mixing cement or pouring it.
Does anybody on here have much experance doing this?
A good tutorial would be great.

Yes, I bought a bag of that plus 4 bags of sand (that was what the bag said I needed) to block in a wall. I am no longer going to use it for that wall so I figured I would use it to fill in the spaces where the beams are right now.
Not sure if I need to mix in some gravel or not? It will be easy to use a board from the barn to make the form against the slab. Just not experianced with mixing, pouring, smothing (leveling?) like this.
Tips, suggestions,?

you must have the mortar mix already. I would not reccomend using that in the floor - I'd go buy the quickrete or readymix with the gravel already in it. Just mix it so that it is a good medium mix - not too wet (it should not slop around). You want a good firm mixture. Just pat it with the back of a shovel or side of a 2x4 - that will work the aggregates down and slurry to the top. When it gets firm you can take a normal broom and brush it for the broom finish or take a trowel when it's still wet and slick it off.

Make sure the spots where the posts were have a good, solid base. Patch should be as thick as the slab around it. Use a 2x4 as mentioned above and screed off level with surrounding floor.

That is what I bought, I'll be stopping by the lowes(next door to the dealership) and grab a bag with the gravel already in it.
As I can tell I have 15 spots to fill in, the largest being about the size of a cinderblock(3 of that size hole). The rest are 4"x6". I'm hoping to get them set up and poured in a weekend. That is of course if I can get the wood out of those spaces at all.
Should be an experiance either way, I was 12 the last time I poured concret.
