went to get in my bronco today and the key wouldn't turn one bit...i couldn't even pull on the handle inside to get it to open..tried grabbing it with some needle nose and it wouldn't come up...any suggestions?..oh and they are power locks but there is a short on my side cuz i got it wet one day

Pull the lead off the door lock motor... Could be energized all-time do to that short you say you have...
Otherwise it's a seized linkage. Disconnect the linkage from the motor and you should be able to unlock with key and interior door handle.
