Mini Starter install - jrshepherd - 11-23-2009

Hello. I'm installing a Mini Starter From Jeff's. There was not one when purchased from PO. I understand it received power from the starter solenoids, but what triggers the solenoids on the starter. I had it tested and everything is ok. Any suggestions? Confusedcratchhe:

On the old style starter there is no solenoid on the starter the relay near the battery does that. It sounds like you need a jumper wire from the START side of the relay (other side from the battery) to activate the solenoid on the mini starter. The Positive on the starter can hook to the Battery side of the relay up top.

Thanks for the tip. I ended up jumping it from the main power from the starter to the solenoid.
Thanks again.
