1991 351W EFI Question - Crawdad - 03-26-2012

A fella contacted me and offered his 91 351W efi set-up for nearly next to nothing (like $50 plus shipping). What would all do I need? Will it work on my 351W. He is keeping the motor in order to carb it, everything else is up for grabs. I think the motor is already been pulled and at his house. I asked him to get me a picture of the motor as it sits so I'll post it later on. Don't need an efi yet, but if the money is right and dirt cheap I'll jump on it if my wife gets it for me! Thx for the input!

if its from a bronco or truck, i dont think you can use the intake(too tall) your better of with a mustang or explorer using the adapter from bcbroncos i think.

get everything from a mustang...not sure i would fool with that 351efi. hopefully others will know more

The injection system on that model isnt ideal for an eb. Too tall and not very good in its own right. Like Chuck said I would stick with aftermarket type stuff. The windsor doesnt have much OE stuff you can get for it. Most mustangs came with the 5.0 which has a narrower intake. For the price I would try a holly projection or a painless system that uses the chevy tbi.

What they are saying. The 351W stuff you are looking at is all speed density (not MAF). You wouldn't be able to modify it easily to work in an EB, as the intake is way too tall.
