Quick disconnect steering wheel - snipes243 - 08-20-2012 Has anybody here ever done this to a stock colume? I have seen the grant discounts but they require a key not really wanting to do that. I had to weld the nut on the end of the shaft and I removed everything off of the shaft so it's essentially a naked shaft from the firewall up. Here is a link to Classic where I posted some pics.
