So Im looking at getting a bigger tank and fixing my possible fuel pump problem. Does any have any experience with the sherman/BC broncos EFI tank?

have one installed in mine with the in-tank fuel pump. No problems so far over the past 5-6 years. I also have their skidplate installed.

Nick with your 2" body lift does it hang about the same as the stock tank?

i think its a great fit with a 2" body, i only have a 1" body...wish my tank was higher, but im building a skid plate for it. i atcuallu got WH's to hook me up with a better deal than BC. and they get there tanks from bc...go figure. i got the tank ready to drop in, bc will send the pump for you to install. go WH!

I got that tank for my 76. Worked really well, so much I kept it but later traded it. Installs so easily. I plan to go back and get another one when the time comes. I sorta wish wish someone would build up a SS or Aluminum one that is adjustable like Chucks tank. I like the way it can adjust from 0"-2" body lift.

It is real close to a stock looking tank with the body lift. I do think a skidplate is needed, you can see several scratches in my skidplate that probably would have been a good sized dent in the tank.

So moral of the story if you go 23 gallon tank 2 in body lift recomended and skid plate?

23 gallon tank - snipes243 - 06-04-2015

Sounds good I will probably get one. WH has a wait list right now for theirs and as usual im waiting for BC Broncos to get back to me on shipping price.

Nick you wold happen to have a picture of the skid plate? Is it worth the $160 or is easy to make

2" recommended = not necessarily, I would say for a trail rig you don't want it hanging down any more than a stock tank, therefore a 2" lift is ideal. Street rig - it doesn't make a difference if it hangs down a little lower, it is just cosmetic.

skid plate = again, your choice - I like to wheel in the rocks and I'm not extremely careful with where I drive sometimes and not having to worry about putting a hole in my fuel tank is worth having the skid plate.

It is probably easy to make, just bent steel with a couple of mounting tabs. I don't have any pictures, but here is a link to BC broncos site, they have a pic on there
