question - Broncin2 - 04-27-2008 ok so why cant i put a 35x12.5 fit on a 15x8 rim? can you technically do it but if just rounds the tire? question - bucketobolts - 04-28-2008 I've seen it done before. It just draws the sidewalls in a bit. You can compensate a bit with lower air pressure to make the tire ride flat. And a 35 is more for giving than a shorter 33. If you look at the specs for most 35x12.50's the tread width is most likely only about 9-10". The section or width across the middle of the sidewall is what give it the 10.50. question - Broncin2 - 04-28-2008 sweet, thanks, i think the rims that ive got are 15x8, if not i could get some real cheap! |
